Dr. Salim A. Nathoo is an internationally recognized dentist and a scientist. He is a clinical professor of restorative dentistry and is frequently invited to give lectures and train other dentists in the art and science of dentistry.

As a professor, Dr. Nathoo is not only responsible for training future dentists but he is also frequently invited to train qualified dentists in order for them to refine and acquire new skills. In March 2016, Dr. Nathoo and his colleagues presented results of clinical trial related to dental stain removal and teeth whitening at the General Session of  American Association of Dental Research in Los Angeles.

Dr. Nathoo is an exceptionally skilled dentist and is recognized for his work in cosmetic dentistry, esthetic dentistry and teeth whitening. He has published over 100 scientific articles and, in fact, a dental stain classification system is named after him. The classification system is called the Nathoo or the N-classification of dental stain.

Dr. Nathoo and Jazz Dental continually try and improve technologies which will enhance patient care and well being. Each technology used at Jazz Dental Care has been thoroughly evaluated for safety and its intended purpose. Therefore, we use digital x-ray systems to minimize radiation to or patients.  We use ultra-sonic cavitron systems to clean teeth, we use electronic systems to select tooth shade and electronic systems to measure bad breath.

As a scientist, Dr. Salim Nathoo has been involved in evaluating the safety and efficacy of numerous products and therefore, has first hand knowledge of how well a particular product performs and how it will meet your needs.  Hence, he will recommend therapies to meet your needs.

Finally, Dr. Nathoo received his DDS degree from New York University College of Dentistry. He received his PhD from New York University Graduate School of Art and Science. He received his undergraduate degree from University of Salford in England. He is a fellow of the International Academy of Dental Facial Esthetics and a fellow of the International College of Dentists. He has published over 100 scientific papers and articles. He is also an inventor and holds several United States Patents.

Dr. Nathoo is also a member of the American Dental Association, NJ Dental Association, American Association of Dental Research.  He is a former consultant of the United States Food and Drug Administration (Teeth Whitening) and has been nominated twice as a candidate for State of New Jersey, Assembly District 17.
